Our jewelry is made with 92.5% pure sterling silver, except in some cases, which will be stated in our description, 90% pure coin silver. All silver tarnishes over time and develops a classic patina. If you want to clean your silver jewelry, it is best to use a rouge cloth to clean the tarnish off. Do not ever dip your piece of jewelry in any type of tarnish removing liquid because it will come out looking terrible and if it has stones in it, your stones will be ruined with these products. Pieces of jewelry with stones set in them should be kept dry as much as possible. You do not want to bathe, shower, or swim with these pieces being worn. The water can get behind the stones, softening the backing material behind the stone. Over time, this will eventually make the stone start sinking which in turn will make it possible for the stone to fall out.
